PGA PRO Ivar Hauksson based at Benalup Golf & Country Club in Fairplay Golf Hotel & Spa shares his professional expertise on how to improve your swing!

There is not just one way to master your golfswing to get a result.
Everybody is different, and even though things are done differently, it does not mean that it is wrong, there are many ways of going from A to B.

Your swing can never be better than what your phisical ability allows.

At the end of the day, we like to be square at impact to the ball when we strike and the approach will dif...fer between individuals.

Most of the time the mistakes arrise from from bad habits made before the swing such as the beginning grip, posture, alignment or ball position and bad shots very often are not consiquenses made in the swing, but in the errors made before it.
My aim is to work on and improve what you have and what you can do, but not try to make you do something unrealistic which you will never be able to do.

Some people may have back problems, hip problems, shoulder problems, knee problems etc. and i take it in my hands as a professional to find a swing which can work for that individual even though it is not by the book 100% , but it works, and main thing is to improve your swing!

Verano en el Fairplay Golf Hotel & Spa

Nos complace ofrecer a nuestros clientes en el Fairplay Golf Hotel & Spa algunas actividades especiales durante su estancia en verano. Nuestro piscina exterior está abierto todos los días, donde puede disfrutar de una zona muy tranquilla y unas vistas maravillas a la janda, el parque natural de la janda de Benalup Casas Viejas.

Mientras disfrute de un circuito en el spa, o una ronda de golf en Benalup Golf & Country Club situado junto al Hotel, sus niños pueden jugar en nuestro mini club, que está disponible todos los días para 8 horas. Nuestro paquete familiar de verano incluye el mini club gratuito, que tiene un coste de 20€ por niño y día para niños entre 3-12 años.

Para aprovechar de las playas lindas de la costa de la luz, ofrecemos desde 16/06/12 hasta 09/09/12 un transporte gratuito a la playa de Conil de la frontera. Las playas de Conil son conocidas por la calidad del agua, la arena y por sus servicios, y sobre todo por su belleza.
Además, le invitamos a cenar cada noche en nuestra terraza bajo las estrellas, donde puede disfrutar de unas vistas del campo de golf y una carta extraordinario.

 We are delighted to offer our clients of  Fairplay Golf Hotel & Spa some special activities during their stay in the summer period. Our exterior swimming pool is open everyday where you can enjoy stunning views of the natural park of Benalup Casas Viejas and a relaxing and peaceful area.

Whilst you enjoy a circuit in our aquamedic pool, or a round of golf at Benalup golf & Country Club, situated next to the Hotel, your children can play in our fun mini club which is available every day for 8 hours a day. Our Summer Family package includes the mini club for free, which has a daily cost of 20€ for children between 3-12 years.

To take full advantage of the most beautiful beaches in Spain, we offer a free daily shuttle to our guests from the 16/06/12 - 09/09/12 to the beach of Conil de la frontera. The beaches at Conil de la frontera are well known for its quality of the water, sand and their fantastic services and most of all its beauty.
We also invite our guests to dine every night on our terrace below the star, were you can enjoy stunning views of our golf course and an extraordinary menu.

A Word from our Executive Chef, Don Vienne Senathit:

Its wonderful that the sun is shining and the days are a little longer, a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors.

With this in mind it is my pleasure to inform you that (weather permitting!) it is now possible to enjoy dinner “under the stars” on our Terrace. Continuing with the “al fresco” theme I looking forward to preparing our special BBQ Nights & Spanish Evenings.

BBQ Nights allow our guests to choose from a selection of freshly made salads and other chilled starters, then choose their main course from our selection of meats, sausages and “pinchitos”, as well as some fish.

Our Spanish Evenings will include some favourite typical dishes from our region as well as a freshly made giant Paella and whole fish cooked in a salt crust. All perfectly washed down with the “required” summer drink, “Tinto de Verano”!.

Spend your summer holiday with us whilst your children are busy playing in our daily mini club!
We include:

• Finest all inclusive, breakfast, lunch, dinner a la carte
• Drinks included throughout the day
• 1 circuit per night to our 2000m2 Spa with aqua medic pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hamman (for adults only)
• 2 hours of mini club per day for children 3-12 years*
• Fitness, Tennis courts, WIFI, indoor parking

- Valid from the 16/06/12 - 09/09/12
- Minimum stay 2 nights
- Maximum 2 adults and 2 children


Childrens policies:
• Children under 13 years are not permitted in our spa
• Children from 0 - 8 years are included in the price indicated. From 9-18 years, children have a supplement of 50€ per child per day. This supplement is obligatory, and in case the supplement is not applied at the moment of booking, the hotel will charge it upon arrival.
• Family Junior Suites can only be booked for 2 adults and 1 child up to 8 years. The child´s bed will be made up on the sofa. From 9 years old or for 2 children, the Two Bedroom Suite must be booked.
